I am new to the art scene, but have always had a creative streak. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and the creative process is teaching me to let go. Most of my work is acrylic on canvas, however, I enjoy up-cycling items like these old folding metal chairs from the 1st grade classroom at the historic East Side School in Livingston, MT. I love working with metallic and neon paints and layering on lots of texture. I hope people who view my art to want to reach out and touch it. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any feelings these works might evoke!

My career so far has been in medicine, not art. Living in Montana has inspired me to paint the local landscapes and to present an impression of this great area where we live and work. I like to travel this huge state and to enjoy the images it presents to us. Being able to share these landscapes in a way that photographs do not has become a passion.
