Building Better Systems Together

About Us

At Divine-Winton Consulting, LLC, we bring operational clarity, strategic insight, and practical solutions to mission-driven organizations. Co-founded by Nicole Divine and Dr. Mark Winton, our consulting partnership serves public agencies, healthcare systems, universities, and nonprofits, helping them strengthen their infrastructure, align programs with their mission, and improve outcomes through collaborative, results-driven approaches.

Nicole Divine

Nicole Divine has steered projects at every scale—from running multimillion-dollar companies in private industry to directing complex federal–state–local cost-sharing initiatives mandated by Congress. Her consulting work is grounded in more than two decades of leadership experience across government, nonprofit, higher education, and business sectors. Throughout her career, Nicole has worn many hats, including Executive Director, Director, General Manager, Business Operations Manager, Vice President, Secretary, Office Manager, and Administrative Assistant. Titles have never defined her; results have. Whether managing large-scale infrastructure and recreation projects, coordinating one of the largest river corridor studies in the western United States, or streamlining internal systems to make daily operations run smoothly, she approaches every role with the same philosophy: assess the situation, adapt to the need, and deliver. Nicole’s expertise includes process mapping, workflow optimization, program design, professional development systems, cross-sector collaboration, and event and conference planning. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from Montana State University, has completed graduate-level coursework in Environmental Science and Public Administration, and is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Montana.

Dr. Mark Winton

Dr. Mark Winton, MD, FACP, is a board-certified physician with over 30 years of experience in internal medicine and infectious disease. His consulting work is grounded in a career of clinical leadership and systems improvement across hospitals, public health departments, and correctional facilities in Montana, Missouri, and Arizona. Mark’s expertise includes antimicrobial stewardship program development, infection prevention, healthcare quality improvement, clinical risk management, environmental health and sanitation protocols, and travel medicine advising. He has led hospital committees on infection control, quality assurance, and pharmacy and therapeutics, and is a skilled advisor in the design and flow of new clinics and medical facilities. In addition to holding current medical licenses in three states, Mark continues to serve patients as a per diem and locum tenens physician, bringing a practical, real-world understanding of care systems to every consulting engagement. Under the Divine-Winton Consulting umbrella, Dr. Winton’s work is strictly advisory, focused on safety, systems, and strategy—he does not provide direct patient care or clinical services.

Our Approach

Together, Nicole and Mark combine frontline insight with systems expertise to help organizations build stronger foundations—from day-to-day operations to long-range planning. Whether improving care pathways, streamlining workflows, or designing scalable programs, Divine-Winton Consulting partners with clients to build better systems together.
